La pelicula que prepara el estudio MGM con los hermanos Peter y Bobby Farrelly, no contempla ser una biografia de este famoso trio sino una comedia sobre las payasadas de los tres personajes que Moe Howard (Moses Horwitz), Larry Fine (Louis Fienberg) y Curly Howard (Jerome Lester Horwitz) hicieron en la serie de 190 cortos de unos 16 minutos, ‘The Three Stooges’, que estreno Columbia Pictures desde 1934 hasta 1958. La cinta se dividira en tres cortos de media hora.
